clogged tranny filter? The one inside under the pan) maybe a small object that temporarily clogged a fluid path internally? Then cleared out...

x2

This is exactly what mine did, the filter would clog up and the tranny would slip. Let it sit and it would run for a while before slipping again. $adly, it had to be rebuilt.

I didn't no that

Im not sure if i am going to describe this right, but you kinda have to loosen the nuts up that hold the shifter in place and kinda preload the linkage so that it is all tight. So you would put it in drive, loosen everything, push the shifter forward so it is definitly and firmly in the right position (aka the red gear indicator is showing in the right place), then tighten the nuts. I put bushings in which stopped the side to side wiggle, but i have to do the aforementioned procedure to get the up and down play out.

That's good to know since I did replace the bushing and got no improvement. Thanks

Tranny died.......:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

If you can get the rig back from the dealer you should try a few things before you call it dead...

Filter change
Passive flush
Throwing it into Park with the vehicle at speed (50+ mph)

It's worth a shot

Link?
I can't see that doing anything but harm to the trans, but I'm willing to read what others have done.

This is mainly to clear a sticking governor valve, and if done correctly won't harm anything. However, it doesn't sound like he's having gear flare, sounds more like a worn output shaft or something.
