Nice to read you're still alive. Hope you can make it. You still in Lawrence at the other school?

whats up, my truck has been on the back burner for a while now so I haven't been on the boards much. I gernaded my 3rd a while back, ended up buying a bimmer and let my taco sit for way too long. I put a used 3rd in and now I only have power to my DS rear wheel  the last time I ftried going wheeling it was pretty wet and I couldn't get anywhere, I hope to get it looked at before then, but I also need to throw a bunch of money at my bimmer to get her ready to go up to montana. so we'll see if I can make it up there.

Hope things work out. You're also welcome to come out and ride along if ya just want to get away. The more technical support the better!

Solo, wife does want to go to some of the later events. Getting up a little early wouldn't be too bad. You get some work done this weekend? (I cut some sheet metal...sshhh)
Sounds like we leaving in the morning- Last time I met up with Jamie and the guys at a gas station right off the highway- we will probably do the same again- its at the edge of Manhattan. I did get my loop cutout and welded in my crossmember so now i have a driveshaft and 4WHEEL DRIVE AGAIN! LOL up till yesturday it was an expensive 2wd truck ;) Travis (Rockwild from Trail Krawlers) will be in the caravan as well- hes out in maize- Hes got a tow rig though so hes gonna be lead hehe-

Anyone else going? I do believe we will be leaving about 5-5:30 from Wichita and heading up to Tuttle. Rumor out is that Jason is still looking for a good spotter to come with- Let us know so we can get a lil caravan going ;).

I'll be heading out from Kansas City around 5 am Saturday as well. Anyone else heading that way from here?

I'm out.

A/C went out in the house, toilet seal gave out and ruined the carpet :mad:

I am out of money for wheelin for a little while since the ruined carpet turned into a complete flooring job for a portion of the basement.

I miss wheelin, dont even know whats it like anymore.

Also, cant get the time off work right now due to shortage of people.

there will be 3 rigs meeting up at 5:30 (sat morn)at 7 hwy / 10 hwy
(just north of Olathe) and then meeting 2 other rigs at

Sure wish I could'a made it, sounds like a great time!

How many TrailKrawlers members are in TAC? Duane? Anyone else?

It'd be cool to do some joint events with these guys. I've only met a few but they like to wheel and that's dang fine in my book (as soon as I get my junk put back together :hillbilly:)

A good time was had. Lots of rigs. Everything from competition buggies (AWESOME) to bone stock vehicles. Even a 2 wheel drive Taco with locker. HE made it through the whole day taking the strap once due to someone overheating at the top and he had to stop on the hill. I saw Mike H's 40. Kirk's 40 with th 45 top, and Travis with all GM drivetrain 40. My 7 year old talked his way into that rig and rode all day. Here are two pics I have.

Not really any good wheeling pics, but here are a few more of the parking lot.

I've seen that yellow FJ Cruiser (in post 36) around here, he passed me on I-35 about 4-5 months ago. Looks good with the 80-series wheels on it.
