Would this list be the same for a 97 LX450?
If you want a great mod, swap out the instrument cluster lights(should be 4 bulbs) to white diffused LED bulbs, it'll give you the later model Lexus instrument cluster look. The Phillips bulbs are pricey, but they have that little diffused cover on them and they're not overly bright.
I also swapped out the Overdrive incandescent bulb w/ an LED bulb so I can see that it's off during the day now. And they keyring light got an LED as well.

Cool mod. Do you by chance have the part numbers for the bulbs you used?
It was a while ago, think I used the 168 Phillips brand diffused LED’s from the auto part store for the gauge backlighting, and Amazon T4’s neo wedge white LED’s for the overdrive light. I’d suggest trying superbrightled.com from what I’ve gathered on this forum, my amazon T4’s were a pain to fit and I don’t recommend those.

Don’t use this brand of T4’s:

Does anyone have a complete Toyota part #s list (including qty needed) of all OEM bulbs in the main instrument cluster and climate controls (including the infamous D light) for a 1997 USDM LC? My limited search skill pulls up a ton of info on LEDs or aftermarket replacements, yet I'm only interested in a straight Toyota to Toyota parts swap.

Thank you!

Has anyone tried replacing the 4 main instrument cluster bulbs with incandescent but without the green condom sleeve?
Wondering how this looks; I kind of like the white look of the led, but ideally looking for longevity here.
I already purchased new green condoms from McMaster-Carr, but thinking of just leaving them off.
Anybody tried this?

Late post - just saw this & sharing for anyone's future reference. I've done it. Regular clear bulbs in the cluster give a faint yellow/orange or almost off-white/tan color in my experience. If the cluster bulbs are not diffused as well (the cap's job there), the lighting has an inconsistent look to it. I tried white caps and it helped with that, but I didn't want to stick with the yellowish hue. I even tried light blue caps to simulate the blue tint that creates "whiter" incandescent bulbs, but it was gross.

Aftermarket green caps are very saturated (I've tried green, lime, yellow....) and I couldn't do it. If you want the factory lime green, just buy OEM if you can't save the original caps that are often fused to the bulb & brittle. In the end, I decided on white, so I went LED. I've heard all the stuff about longevity and flickering, but it's been almost 2 years and mine are still perfect. They're so easy to change anyway, and I prefer the clean white. These are the specific bulbs I bought.. some reviews said they're not as bright as most, which sold me. They're a little brighter than stock, but not enough to use the dimmer. Not sure if that has anything to do with my lack of issues, but maybe these bulbs just get along. I also used them for my door courtesy lights, and it made them worth a damn. We'll see how long it is before I have to change the cluster bulbs again, but I've taken it apart so many times I could do it in my sleep, hah.

Hey B, did you ever get this defined list?

@Desert Dino or anyone else, do you know if the original list is also for a 97? I'm sure it must all be the same. What does the "X" for qty mean?
