I’m admittedly old school and believe that consistent oil change intervals with good synthetic oil is generally all you need to keep your engine internals operating properly. That being said, I was having a conversation with a buddy who said he swears by LiquiMoly MOS2 in his 5.7 Tundra. He strongly encouraged me to run a bottle in my next oil change in my 4.7 Sequoia (2005). Before I do that, does anyone have any experience to share? I’m inclined to believe it’s snake oil (or have negligible benefit) but I’m open to having my mind changed.
And yes, I ran a search and didn’t find anything on point.
Thanks in advance.
