Once you got started with the upgrades, your just not stopping are you!?

A good idea and looks great

I did the same to my sliders but have some slices/cuts on it from meeting up with rocks. I found that some FIPG form a gasket makes for a good bonding agent for "glueing" back the liner material and matches up pretty good. Ive also heard that JB weld with a couple drops of black paint can be mixed, then applied with a stick and textured to match.

He already munched it on 'Spike. Show us the current pics Shannon.

Nice option instead of painting it regular! The front bumper on my car isn't as bad but does have some small rust specs on the bottom as well as a scratch from a Starbuck's drive -hru. My wife can't seem to live without that $hit.
Bottom line is I need to do some refinishing on both front and rear bumpers.

That is one fully polished turd!:hillbilly::bounce:

Alriight, heres what the bumper looks like now, just scraped up a bit, DS from the Crack, PS from tight brush in Lockhart Basin. Theres a pinhole of Line-X missing on the DS, its gotta be from a rock thrown up in front of me. Come to think of it, I spent quite a bit of time behind Rob. I'll let you polish it in Payson.:)

Well at least he's not scratching up an ARB on that slickrock! Gotta give him credit for that. - Or is it scratching up the slickrock with an ARB?

An ARB is made to get beat. I'm surprised that one came home with all the tupperware attached.:steer:

skills man!!! (well...and excellent spotters) It knocks the scary and damage factor down by 50% when you have spotters like Kevin, Robbie and you and Michael helping you out.

Its amazing how an 80 and good spotters can make any shlep look like he can drive:steer::eek::hillbilly:

It speaks highly of the OEM bumpers -

- or his wheeling skills. I'll let you answer that cause you wheel with him. :hillbilly:

We know this isn't the case, they are very light units that can cause $$$ damage with even light contact.

He did a very good job, especially being his first really technical wheeling trip. :hillbilly:

Pure sarcasm on my part, Kevin. Maybe if the Line-X was thicker he wouldn't need any armor!:hillbilly:

I bet the fact that he had good spotters and teachers helped out just a little. Looks like Copper State Cruisers take good care of their own! Good job!

Alright, update on the Line-x'ed bumper. Just like a Timex, "takes a lickin and keeps on tickin". A little bit of carnage from yesterdays trail run at Payette Draw up in Payson. According to Rob, im thinking the Line-x gives it a little spring back action when the bumper is crushed, and its still holding up strong. Go Line-x!!

I put Light Grey Line-X on my sliders. It is holding up pretty well so far. Haven't really given it a "rock" test yet. Here are some pics. Once I get a front bumper I am going to do it in the same color as the sliders.

A "badge of courage!" for sure~

I saw that huge boulder you drove up and off of at Payette. I thought for sure you ripped that sucker off when you backed off. It held up pretty good really.

I Line-X 'd my sliders, which tears off, but I found either some Fipg liquid gasket or textured JB weld mixed with black paint works good for tear repairs. Ive waited too long between fixes and some light surface rust is forming on the metal. I see you at least primered the sliders first.
