Anyone have recommendations or links to a supplier for lightweight aluminum cargo boxes (rectangular, rounded), some aerodynamic contouring I suppose would be helpful. Needs to be water resistant to keep rain out. I need to mount them on my roof rack for carrying various tools and electronics (radio) hardware. Needs to be lockable. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I'm in southern Oregon. Don't have exact specs on the size, still working it out, we'll likely settle on something maybe up to 4 feet long, 2 feet wide, 1 1/2 foot deep. May need more than one. May want some custom-type work for specific tools for radio work (antennas, wires).

If you can find them the army surplus medical boxes are exactly what you ask for. I have one that is about 24 X 30 X 10 it is 100% water and dust proof. They are very light when empty.
