We stayed up for hours and hours sipping tequila, damiana and lime from salty seashells and cheering each lightning strike as this storm exploded to our east out over the Gulf of California. A sidewinder charged us amidst all of it too. Nobody got bit and everything was rad. We woke to debris clouds and a spectacular sunrise.

The is a section of canyon down by AriVaca that has so many strike marks from lightning it’s like walking on the moon! Seen storms down there that will send you running!
