License plate/reverse light wiring help

OK, my search kung-fu sucks. I only found stuff on Kaymar

I want to wire my license plate light (and turn off the stock tailgate license plate light). I also have a backup light that I would like to automatically turn on w/ I go into reverse.

I found this underneath at the rr crossmember-

#1-an open connector in the center.
#2- DS connector
#3-PS connector

Might be easier to remove the 2 bulbs. As for wiring the other light... dunno.

When you install Slee's tire carrier, you have to route power to the new license plate mount. The above PDF tells you how to do so.

you can unplug the original licence plate lights inside the tailgate.

I made a wire harness and hooked the plate light & tractor light. Tractor light only had 1 wire so I assume the mounting is ground - and the one wire is +

update:
There is a loose black connector on the PS. It is taped up w/ the black connector pictured in #3 (1st post).

Tap the solid green wire (just stick a blade into the connector) and that will do it for the lic plate light
Ground is in the center, a bolt w/ other ground wires.
