As I review the service information on my new to me LX I would like to know the detail. What was actually done during the service with some details. Many of the entires are just something like 40 k service 0-20w oil and filter.. and inspect ....

If a certain interval called for x to be changed, I want to be certain x was or wasn't changed.

What's odd to me during my last service appointment was regarding fluid change in the front, rear, and center(transfer case) differential. In the service manual, it said to replace only if towing or driving off road, but not normal driving. The service advisor told me they do that regardless every 30K. Neither the service record online or the paper work indicates the details. It just say 60K miles service.

If it isn't specifically notated, it likely wasn't done. Lexus dealer techs are supposed to document everything. (Key word there, but still. If the tech is being paid for a specific task, it should be notated).

RE SteveP, I always go off the "severe service" recommendations especially for the first major services. The factory fills are usually fouled from components breaking in. The front and rear diff oil in my truck was very dirty at 5 years and ~40k.

I have notes on certain fluild changes such as diffs, T/C, etc what I don't see is stuff like spark plugs, AHC fluid, P/S fluid. Now at the 60K the Carfax says suspension serviced, could that be AHC fluid? Lexus history says "inspect suspension ball joints".

I am really looking time out the baselining over a little time.

Below is what my service detail states for 60k mile service. You can dealer that serviced the vehicle and ask them. Most are ver

I forgot to mention that i still have the free Maintenance Plan until 75K miles for being a CPO vehicle. I'm a bit surprised that they would do the gear fluid change while it was not necessary?
