This is confusing to me:frown::confused:

Solid links (DOM tubing/ square tubing) are used to locate the axle in a 3/ 4link suspension. If you try to locate the axle with the leafs and connect them to the frame at both ends, they will limit the travel of the coilvers and will be try to hold the weight of the truck :confused: Am I missing something? The leafs SPRINGS and the coil SPRINGS have the same purpose. Links that flex (leaf springs) will not work.

Are you thinkg of a 1/4 elipitcal?

Maybe leafs in the rear and links in front?

its a leaf sprung vehicle at the moment, and i want to go full coilover at a later date.

I have the coilovers but just no coils

Just run the coliver shocks..

But, the location of the shocks might change when you link it and the valve rates will definately change..

righto cheers fellas
