Leaking fuel tank

Geez, when it rains it pours. Are there any known weak points in the vicinity of the fuel tank on a 92 hzj73? Ive got diesel fuel leaking from the drain holes in the protective plate on the bottom of the fuel tank. I hate not having my garage and my own tools!!!

If the fuel is coming out around the fuel bung just place a aluminum or copper washer between the plug and sump and torque to spec.

I have had my tank out and cant remember seeing anything particularly weak. Its a two piece tank seam welded in the middle.
I would be first looking at the hoses that go to and from the tank. They could be split and weeping onto the top of the tank and running around.
Or there could be a stone or something has rubbed thru the tank between the bash plate and tank.
Really need to take it on a dusty road and look for the wet spot.

Not many on Okinawa, but if you go north on 58, there is a large farm area past Kadena circle. A lot of grave/dirt roads.
