hi, the t-case on my bj70 is leaking bad from the front driveshaft output, i need to change the clutch very soon and would like to fix the leak at the same time. however i dont have time or money to get into a full rebuild. so i'm wondering what style of seal it is and how difficult is to change. any advice would be appreciated.

The TC output seal should be easy to replace. I just did both front and rear on mine. Download the manual online and just follow the instructions. You only need a few wrenches to remove the drive shaft bolts, a large socket to remove the nut, and a torque wrench to put a new nut back on. You could do the job in less than an hour if you have all tools and parts in hand before you start. Make sure you get the correct seal for your model BJ. The first one I got online was wrong, and I lost a day getting a local toyota shop to order the correct one.
