As for the knuckles...well most of us on this site are freaks and will do whatever we can to make our cruiser run better. You could prob run those knuckles like that for years the way they are.

I have a rebuild coming up that I just keep putting of because of other projects on it. Ive done deep deep water crossings and came back to find that my knuckles were filled with water. I just greased em up and it shot out the water.....no worries man for the most part they are built like tanks.


Thing is the same clamps that keep your springs from shifting L to R will also keep them from opening up at full flex. Clamps suck! I modify clamps so they prevent L to R movement but dont limit up to down movement.
