I live in Leadville, CO and am looking to purchase TLC in the area [Salida, Buena Vista].


Mid 80's FJ60, I need a vehicle and have money to make a purchase.

When I was looking for my 80 there wern't very many up in the mountains. I looked down in Denver too, and there were tons of them there. May be the same with 60's. You should post up on the Rising Sun site, maybe someone has a nice 60 they're looking to sell.

Yes, there are some nice views. We have been receiving some snow over the last couple days. Your good luck seems to have paid off; I have a good lead on and 84 60 with very little rust!

1985 FJ60 92k original with records in Aspen. $6,000. I'd jump on that. I see these super clean ones here all the time being serviced at the dealer(no I'm not a dealer or don't work at one). Last week there was one with 32k on it.

Also, my coworker bought an 83 60 with 88k on it a couple months ago. He is trying to buy his first house for his family and may be interested in selling it now. Let me know. White one.

Or, I'll sell you my 85 60 with 101k for the right price. I love it more than anything but money talks. Blue one

What is your co-worker looking to get for the 'White' truck?

84 60 he is asking $1500 and this truck is in bad shape.

The worst part is, he has been running the cruiser without power steering fluid and the pump will need to be replaced.


Any thoughts on what I should offer the seller[?] or should I just pass on it?

Yes, I concur.


That sucks...but there are other issues there is no head liner and it is in generally poor condition, with high miles.


I was thinking of offering $800, but the more I think about it...$800 is to much.


His asking price, was originally $2000, as it is.
