LC100 front tweeter mounting?

The google is not strong with me today, and I have not been able to find pictures or details here or elsewhere on how the stock tweeters were mounted in my '01 LC. Some previous owner of my LC replaced the speakers with some cheap Sony speakers, hacked up the wiring and removed the front tweeters, assuming that it originally had them... Did all LC100s have tweeters in the front doors? The triangle with grill was there, and there seems to be a screw hole that may have been a mount, but I am not sure. I guess I may just glue the component tweeters in behind the grills, but I am assuming the originals had a better mounting arrangement. I like factory type solutions where possible.

I am sure lots of people have replaced the speakers and perhaps used components. Any pictures or links?

With that done, I refit the door panel to check clearance. With everything looking good/fitting properly, I marked the crossover location so that I could remove the rest of the tape backing and fully adhere it to the door.

Time to move on to the tweeter. Remove the tweeter from the door panel and dismantle it from its bracket.

If the bracket is still there, some double-sided 3M tape will work for securing the new tweeter to the bracket. If they removed and trashed the bracket, I would try to find a couple from a part-out.

Thank you for the responses! Yes, the brackets and wiring are gone. The wires were cut where they came out of the door harness. At least they left the factory speaker adapters although the heads of the screws that they attached the speakers with were stripped. Whoever worked on the sound system in this in the past was really sloppy. Screws were in the wrong places, all the plastic "tube" clips were broken or missing, amplifier connectors were cut off, bolts for the amplifier bracket to floor were gone, leaving open holes in the floor, grommets for a door and firewall were not seated, etc . It took me some time to get it all put together properly. It is all coming together nicely, but it has been a lot of work. I have spent as much time fixing other people's screw ups as I have correcting wear and tear.
