Great pics, great scenery, great country. Thank you for sharing. Got to speed up my Portuguese studies so that I'm ready to go when I retire.

You have overfilled your brake fluid reservoir. It should be under the max line after emptying the booster accumulator. I.e. turn ignition off and pump the brake fully 20-30 times (or leave it parked for a few days :) ), then check level. Read instructions on the cap. Spilling will reduce the life of the booster motor, and help the power connector bolts to corrode nicely.

Keep posting please, more info/pics of Portugal é muito bom.

Okay, so something was done wrong.
If I understand correctly, the liquid level should be at maximum after, with the ignition off, pumping the pedal 40 times. Am I right?

At this moment what happens is that when I pump the pedal 40 times the liquid level rises above the max, when I turn on the ignition the pump works and it returns to the max mark.

Sim. With new brake pads it should be at max, with the booster depressurized.
If you start out at max with new pads, it is time to check the wear of the pads if the level ever reaches minimum,.

ok, so I definitely have too much oil. When I depressurize the pump, the liquid rises a little more than a finger's height above the max.

Thanks for the help
