What do you mean by higher capacity, higher flow or higher filtration? Filters are usually matched to the quantity of fuel that flows through the lines. The one you are using is good for 8-10gpm with 10 micron filtration. A 3B would be going hard using 8-10gpm.
I suspect that is supposed to be a 8-10 gallons an hour which in litres would be 32-40 litres an hour. The delphi 296 filter is in that range.
I doubt the 3B could use more than 20-25 litres an hour for extended periods without overheating.
