This Land Cruiser tool roll dates between 1964-69. It includes the types of tools originally supplied except for the Engine Adjust Kit, which is replaced by the Carburetor Driver Set in the tan pouch. All tools are vintage Toyota and date between 1964-69 except the Screwdrivers (approx. 1983 NOS Vessel) and Carburetor Driver Set (mid-70s). A replica Content List replaces the missing original.
The tools are in good, used condition and have marks and wear from age and use. There is minor pitting on the hammer head and peen, rust on the wrench clip and minor rust on the 12x14mm wrench. The Carburetor Driver Set vinyl pouch has a small tear in the flap.
The tool roll canvas is in good condition. There are several holes in the upper and lower flaps and main canvas. The canvas has typical marks, stains and grime from age and use. The plastic in the Content List window is missing.

This tool roll canvas and assortment of tools is not intended to represent a complete and correct Land Cruiser tool kit. Additional information:
- Vessel screwdrivers - Vessel manufactured screwdrivers for Land Cruiser tool kits. The screwdrivers in this kit are not those. Original screwdrivers for this kit would have been marked Toyota Motor Japan on the shank. These are later Vessel, general market screwdrivers, marked Vessel on the ferrule. They are NOS condition and date to around 1983, and were not included as original equipment in any Land Cruiser tool kit.
- Grease Gun - 1964-69 Land Cruiser tool kits included a grease gun similar to the one pictured, except it was marked Toyota TEQ Motor.
- a 6-wrench size TEQ wrench clip, as mentioned the one include is 5-wrench size
- 3 screwdrivers marked Toyota Motor Japan on the shank 75mm, 150mm flat head and No2 cross-head, the ones included are Vessel brand not the Toyota originals
- a grease gun with the Toyota TEQ Motor logo, marked Made In Japan, the one included is somewhat later
- a green pouch Engine Adjust Kit in place of the carb driver set
- the Engine Adjust Kit would include the feeler gauges, gap gauge, voltage tester, ignition wrench and may also include a red-handle points file.
