landcruiser camper spotted on SW Marine today from Europe

Just wanted to share a cool landcruiser I spotted on SW Marine today. From the back it looked like an RV/Camper, and once I got close I spotted the shovel and sand tracks attached to the back.

Upon passing I noticed the EU license and it was a Landcruiser with an older couple. It was khaki coloured... keep your eyes open, because it was a sweet looking rig!

Ive seen one of those at the albion ferry. The guy said he brought it over from switzerland

Some folks in Europe get a sabbatical (one year off with guaranteed re-hire) after a certain number of years of work and occasionally those folks will go on a world tour, ship their trucks over here and head out. I've met a few here in Guatemala too on their way south.
