Wife wants a wrangler for her car, I pushed her towards the Bronco and she loved it so much she insisted I reserve one. Thinking a 4 door with a manual transmission should be fun. We will see when they come out. Safety has to be better than the wrangler.

I believe the current plan is that the manual will only be available with the 4-cylinder. If you want the 6-cylinder then automatic only.

I usually don't like getting the first year of any car, but this one is a bit hard to resist.

Given how badly Ford screwed the pooch on the 2020 Explorer launch (around 5,000 Explorers stacked up in lots at the plant awaiting rework prior to shipping), I would not recommend getting the first year Bronco.

First year is never a good idea. For that matter, my experience says Ford isn't a good idea either but this won't be a primary car. Really just for the wife to tool around in. Aware that the manual is only available in the 4cyl. Thats ok.
