I like to point out to LR peeps that my LC is never in danger of sliding off the mountain in its own self made oil slick.

I liked that fact 007,an Englishman, choose a lc when the times were to get really bad. He could have commandeered the rr if he wanted as 007 is good

Worked with the Royal Marines down in the Indian Ocean and they’d leave the keys in their Defender D90s. We’d take them out through the jungle occasionally. Miss that and still want one. Had an ‘02 Disco II and it was the biggest POS I’ve ever owned.

I actually have a Range Rover sport 2007 is a hand me down from sister to my father then to me on his passing. It has 181000 miles on it and has only required an alternator, replace some rusted brake lines, and a grounding of the amp +. I understand this model is one of the better ones. But you must do your own work. I was running low on the suspension fluid and rr dealer wanted $125 for a quart. I went to auto zone and got what I thought would be equal for $5. If the rr ever has a major issue I cannot fix it will be scrapped. The electrical manual alone is 900 pages. I should add the rr is way over engineered. Even what would be a simple receiver trailer hitch was turned into a full engineering project by rr with gears and keys. Don’t trust the thing

When you need a tough vehicle, choose Land Cruiser:
