Been wanting to do this for a while, then along came Jeff's chrome bezel! (Thanks Jeff!)

Polished the chrome and it looks pretty good (with a little rust!)

Clock is from a crafty place in the U.S.A., depicts Mt. Fuji. Weather station is from Germany (takes no batteries).

Going to hang it in Andrew's room I think. :)

hi guys any one can direct me how to get to mount baker from van and any campsites that is safe around that area, any suggestions ? planing to get there on 1st Aug.

Travel east on Highway 1 to Abbotsford, cross at the Sumas border crossing. Weekends are busy, go early morning weekday if possible.

Take a left onto SR547 in Sumas, follow signs after about 20 minutes to Mt. Baker (SR542).

Federal forestry campgrounds called 'Douglas Fir' is nice, on the Nooksack River. There are other campsites closer to Mt. Baker as well.

WA State is not like B.C. where you can camp anywhere. Most Camping in the USA needs to be on private or government campgrounds.

Stop at the Ranger staion on your way to Mt. Baker to inquire about parking passes etc while in the parks.

Cheers,
Rob
