So there is a group of us heading to Lake Mohave for a long weekend. Every year they drain down the lake to harvest the Razorback Sucker fish from small lakeside pond, which are relocated to different spots on the river to help rebuild the population. The best part of this is that it opens up about 20 - 30 ft of lake front beach. We usually take over an area just to the south of Nine Mile Coves where you can beach launch you jet ski's or small boat. We basically set up about 10 ft from the water and have no one around for 1/4 mile. Some of the group is heading out on Wednesday the 5th, but I'm heading out on Thursday around 11:00. Everyone is welcome to join if you're down for some fishing and hanging out by the lake.
