Hi James,Hello! Say hello to Ireland from me, we have a site in Swords I would frequent a while back and have fond memories of exploring Dublin with my mates over there. Regarding your question, you should target a backspace of 3.5" or less. Be aware with a wider wheel like you are proposing, it will stick out of the fenders if your truck doesn't have flares. For reference, I just ordered a set of wheels from Braid for my 1992 FZJ75 and the specs are as follows:
16: x 7"
6 x 139.5mm (5.5" bolt circle)
-20mm offset.
