So, I begin to understand :)

I have a R150F speed box.
I haven't a RF1A Tcase !

But, what is the reference of my Tcase ?
It's the Tcase of the picture ONE.

Thanks,
Arnaud

Arnaud.. what region of FR are you in?
That would be what we call a Split cruiser case. (2 halves bolted together) Honestly I don't know what the designation is

Dave, I'm assuming those have 8" ring gear 3rd's like the hilux?

So, Dave, what is needed to change my low ratio in my Tcase ?
Just my low ratio, no my high ratio !

The whole for a maximum of 500$, if it's possible.

Thanks,
Arnaud

The KZ has a 10*43 ratio on bridges (bridges ?? I think it's the same word in English !!)
Help me to learn english !!!

Hmmm, I think you already have the lowest ratio for factory transfer gears, 2.29:1. Anymore than that you have to go aftermarket then the costs really go up from there. Check if Marlin (www.marlincrawler.com) has a Hilux reduction gearbox adapter to work with the R151 and the cruiser split case, but his stuff will cost more than $500 :) :( :)

What you call "bridges" I think refers to the axle differential. Yep, you have the 4.30 ratio diffs.

I'm French.
Tcase of my KZJ73 haven't reference, probably.
All my research say me that I haven't solution at less than 1500$ :o(
It's too for me !
Maybe I can adapt gear of tcase of BJ4*/HJ6*/BJ7* !

I don't know what the split case is called either. Funny that all the other transfer cases Toyota makes has had a name designation, but this one's is not well known. Maybe Landpimp knows it, he knows Toyota esoterica.

Yes, Wes, these are 8" ring gears, the front is reverse cut though. The 4.56 9" diff that fits our axle housings come in the PZJ7x rear axles. Those are available with e-lockers too. Yumm.

Yes, 2.28:1 I think !
Every dealer US or AU say me that they don't do anything for land cruiser Tcase.
I have just marks4wd, but it's too expansive !
Bridge = axle. Because, in french, bridge and axle are the same word !

I know that Hilux Tcase aren't the same that my tcase.

So, I keep my tcase with 2.28:1, I haven't choice !

Thanks,

Hi everybody!

Well, brand new here, Arnaud dragged me over here! My name is Max, and i'm owner of a 87 HJ61! Arnaud, i think i have the solution for you!!!!!!!!!!

A dual toyota transfer case! since you have two T cases! I've seen it done, may be on Erik's toy 4X4 page or somewhere! You link the first one to the second one, extensive work, but might be done cheaply enough! What do you think guys?

Best regards.

Max.

Yes, I have two T cases.
But does a land cruiser T case can be matted on a land cruiser T case ?
I think it's not possible !

A solution of kit of gears is "cleaner" and faster but .... expansive.
