Kzj70 94’ No Power

Hi there,
My father gave me kzj70 with 1kzt. It was in the garage for 3 years without starting, when I started the other day after replacing all fluids and filters the car won’t pass 2000 rpm and at 1500rpm it would shake and smoke.
The return pipe from the turbo is leaking but i don’t think it would cause that.
Anyone as any guesses on what it could be?

I changed the valve cover gasket and the intake manifold gasket if that makes any difference

Look at your egr assembly. Sounds to me like its clogged up or the egr valve is stuck. Might as well delete it while you're in there.

Also take a look at any vacuum lines you may have disconnected during the gasket changes.

Does it have EGR?

It should, Unless you guys got a simplified version of that motor. Check to see if you have the valve and the pipe on the backside of the engine.
