Alright, I done went out there with a measurin' stick this mornin. 245/70/19.5 on 19.5x7.5
Real measurements @ 70psi-
32.25" overall diameter.
9.75" sidewall to sidewall.
8.0" tread width.

I ain't tryin' to start nuthin' here ...

but ...

if'n Chris sold it at a good price to help a brother out ...

and then that brother flipped it at a healthy profit due to a low buyin' price ...

that's a brother fawkin' a brother ...

and that's incest. :grinpimp:

Carry on.

:flamingo:

BTW ... thanks for the measurements.

You're on the right track College Boy ... but the tread pattern/size ain't the real benefit .... it's the weight ratin's. Be perfect for your old man's rig with that big-ass camper. Gives a nice safety factor.

While you're explainin' this s*** to 'im ... tell 'im least I didn't buy a friggin' plane with a parachute built on it. :flipoff2:

:flamingo:

Well, I talked with him, and he ain't too excited about the price of those wheels (and tires). The problem is, with those 4.10 gears in his '03, he can't go over about 65mph before fuel mileage goes to hell, and that's with the 35" tires on there. He needs something that's about 36" or so - anything bigger won't fit like it is.

What kinda mileage you gettin' outta those Michelin tires? He's got about 45-50k on his tires and it's time for a new set, but that ain't really all that bad I suppose. I'll tell 'im about the weight ratings. I 'spect he'll stick with the 17" wheels, though.

And about the whole heep/plane thing...at least neither one of you is dumb enough to go and buy a little Mia--aww, s***.:grinpimp:

You ain't startin nothing atall.

I guess "flip" ain't the right word. Pops got it from Chris and put some TLC into that CK didn't have time to do. Then he sold it for around the same as what he paid initially. So he really lost money on it in the end (like most projects he's had).

Well ... blah, blah, blah ...

You're still not gettin' it son ... The Dirty White Boy done posted his lil' tires are only 32" ... hell ... I think mine are only 35 or so. Height ain't a problem. The weight ratin' gains are huge as well as the mileage. Think I'm 'bout 80k on mine and they still look new. I'm tired of dealin' with you now ... have your old man call me ... I like 'im better than you anyhow. :flipoff2:

:flamingo:

I think you aren't gettin' it...he needs a TALLER tire to drop his rpms down at highway speeds. The tallest I could find was a 285/70/19.5, which is a hair over 35. :flipoff2::flipoff2:

As far as likin' him better...I'm about as close to bein' the same as him as you can get. Only difference is he's a bit more stubborn, and he's got gray hair. :D

Thanks sir.

I done passed on all the info to my Dredge Captain and he looked into 'em ... and took a likin'. :D

This dredge is headin' to Baltimore next and Rickson's in Maryland ... he's gonna pick up a set right at the factory.
