Last weekend a few friends and I finished the kokopelli trail. We started in Moab and rode back to Loma for our route. It was a trail I've been wanting to do for quite a while. And I'm glad it finally got crossed off my bucket list. Overall, a trail with outstanding views at every turn! And it also seems to be a trail, where most people who've done it-don't like to be honest about how much tech riding is actually on this route. The three of us are all very competent tech riders, and had to dismount more then we thought we ever would. We were riding unsupported, so I'm sure this played a part in it as well. An upside though, if anyone is thinking about riding this trail. It is very well marked! I had the trail saved in my garmin, but you could ride it with no gps and do just fine.
Overall, it was a hard ride and a very rewarding ride! Might go back for a second trip next spring!
