I'm looking for a unique honeycomb micarta, but nothing has really jumped into my shopping cart yet.

He often uses a mix of micarta and antlers. You may have to dig through the older posts to get some more inspiration, but he does awesome work.
 
I have an almost endless supply of 15N20 bandsaw strip steel, 0.089" thick. We run 41' x 14" bandsaws here at the sawmill and I run the Filing Room where we maintain them. Let me know if you want to play with some of this, it makes a pretty good knife. We also use micarta for our saw guides so I have pieces I have used for handles. I made a camp knife years ago but nothing as cool as those. Nice work.
