I have a good friend who went out to watch this race this year. He spent a few days afterwards in his Buggy(yellow one on www.pikespeakrovers.com its not yellow anymore though).

My buddy Alan Rich(from sylva) ran the koh this year.. made it almost to check point #6 out of 7.. broke a rear stub shaft and kept going but tire finally fell off.. only 33-34 racers finished.. more than last year only about 8. Jason the guy who won prerun the track like 6-8 times before the race. His top speed was 114 mph. Alans top speed was 82 mph his coilovers where not set up for baja.
