Like alf said, make sure you download the areas you are going to be in before you go. Also, it downloads the appropriate maps for whatever zoom level you are in. So if you aren't zoomed in too close it will download the medium scale maps, if you zoom in close it will download the tightest scale quads which are the most useful.

I would like to check this out...I am not a computer expert but I do have a high speed connection.....I go to the link at the first post and try to download it but when it is on my computer I double click on it to use it and all I get is NSIS error try reinstall.

Anyone know what I am missing here??

bump for bluecruiser. Sorry man, I'd try to uninstall and reinstall. That's a start.
