keyless system not working - remote keyless system

gd day nice pepole pls help me i am the owner of a 2013 lc 200 and my friend with same car 2008 we checked in my new house when i park my car i have places i cant operate my remote control it means i cant lock unlock or start my car and if i move 10 eters from there all ok.


same goes for my friends car in the same position.

on the other hand my sons car and my wife which is German or french all ok

any idea what can i do ?

some one told me to go to the main antenna of the ecu and wrap it with alominuiom coil

can any one help me here where is ti located in my car and is it ok to do it ?

Have you replaced the battery in the key fob?

gd day yes sure its not a battery issue as when i leave that place all comes back to normal

Are you just saying that your range is worse?

From inside the house or just generally including outside?

If inside...Likely causes include various materials in the walls, or patterns of electrical activity, etc.

If happening outside with line of sight? Hmm...

One thing I’ve definitely noticed on mine over the years (2008) is that range varies dramatically based on my location and surroundings. I have also noticed that the remotes do seem to have some variation in directionality (transmitting farther when turned a certain direction, even in light-of-sight situations. You might also try varying your parking position somewhat and see if there is a sweet-spot.

Thanks very much your answer this had never Happened to me before , and if it did then it would happened everywhere and then I would replace the battery. In this case battery Is new It’s something in the air something disturbs it something is maybe using the same frequency something is blocking the receiver I have no idea what. someone told me to cover the antenna or the ECU of the keyless system With Aluminum coil Can anyone tell me if that would work and where do I find that Ecu part in my car

1.5 cents re foil..,
—If covering the ECU with aluminum foil helped its reception.........Toyota (and everyone else) would already build them that way.

But...wearing a tin-foil hat DOES protect your brain from being controlled by aliens! Haha
