I'd check with a locksmith. I had a key made by ACE for my 76,
but I think with my 71 FJ40 the only place that had a blank was the locksmith in town. If they don't have one, they should be able to order it, I would think.

Tried 2 Locksmiths and no luck so far....

I had dup keys made for my 1971 FJ55 a week ago. Like you tried ACE and a couple other key shops- lots of we don't have that. But found some blanks that were cut and work. Blank says TR23
Toyota / Luv on the other side it says ESP Lock CO USA T80 V

Hope that helps, If you still can't find them maybe I can get back to the key place and get more info or some blanks for you.

Good luck

Alpine lock and key in Truckee California has about thirty blanks that I used for my stock 72 pig.

Wish I knew what they used on mine for a blank, but it wasn't a Toyota blank. Most reputable locksmiths can figure out what blank to use, and will not charge you unless it works. I do recall the guy have a real hard time with the correct depth though.

Your blowing smoke trying the hardware stores.

I got keys cut for my '76 at the local locksmith. They commented that the blank is rarely used now so it might be tough to find.

DL "TA15" is what this one is.
