I am considering Kelford's Stage-1 cams (225-A) for my engine rebuild. Before I order them, I want to be sure that they will work with OEM Lifters and shims. I asked Kelford this question a while back and have not received an answer, which seems a little odd. I see Kelford mentioned here and there in the 80-series forum, but has anyone actually installed them that might know the answer to this question?
Also, I will be using Ferrea valves and associated parts. The original plan was to use Ferrea springs, but Kelford recommended their springs over Ferrea. I asked a similar question that has not been answered, will the Kelford springs work with OEM spring seats and retainers. Might someone here know the answer to this question?
