Just wondering if anyone can help on this. I seem to constantly have issues with my brakes. Today the front left/rear left (couldn't tell which while driving) started squeaking when turning left. I had the rotors and pads replaced on three of the wheels just 6 months ago. The mechanic said the calipers were ok. I was taking a closer look at the brakes today after the squeaking, and noticed some of the clips looked loose/not pushed down on the pads. Just wondering if this is what a correct brake installation on these should look like, or any other help appreciated.

Rust plays a significant role on the condition of the calipers. Did your mechanic at the time of the service opened up the calipers for inspection (checked pistons, seals, clean fossilized iron deposits)? May need to inspect wheel bearings as well.

Yeah, squeaking while turning would make me wonder if the wheel bearings had excessive play, allowing the rotor to contact the pads. Especially if the brake service person didn't know what they were doing, which I would question if they replaced three rotors but not the fourth?!
