This may be a silly question, but how does it attach. Do you have any photos of it in use?

I don't think I have a photo but it makes sense when you have it in your hand and hold it up to the rear tire carrier. Basically, the long, slender tab slides through the center of the rear tire on the carier and the small hole at the end of that tab is for a pad lock. When you have it in that position, you will see the lug nut holes on the main body line up with the wheel. You take the lug nuts off the tire, slide the unit into position and replace the lug nuts. It's now secure and the antenna mounting plane is flat. You might be able to see on one of the pictures where I had my pervious antenna attached.

If this doesn't make sense, I can remount it and take a picture. It's actually easier than it sounds.

I'm looking for a way to mount my ham radio antenna to my truck so I'd like to see a photo with this mount in place. Thanks.

Doug

Thanks for the photos. Not what I'm looking for right now.

Too bad I've got my license plate there already.

Yes, same here. When I purchased the truck in CA and drove back to TX, I wasn't across the state line 10 min before getting pulled over and warned that it wasn't visible enough. After thinking about it, it would have been just as easy to add a bracket to this unit with a small light for the license plate. I should have saved my money and made my own instead of buying the Kaymar plate holder.
