No, it doesn't. It say that it will have greater departure angle compared to previous Land Cruiser designs, not compared to OE.

Edit: It says this is the case due to the location of the hitch receiver which has been moved from under the bumper to being integrated into the bumper.

You are correct, it does mention better depature angle over previous model. However, in the bullets following that paragraph, it specifically states "Increased departure angles compared to O.E. bumper bar". Since it mentions the bumper specifically and not the hitch, I interpret it to mean current model.

I still could be wrong but that's the way I read it.:hillbilly:

Heck, no problem. I´m a little biased since I have one on order and looking for any info to support the decision. This was the first tidbit that actually said better departure. We'll know for sure after the first install.:hmm:
