Kaiapoi Repowers Black Box

Anybody have any experience with the “Black Box” from Kaiapoi Repowers for $500? I am in contact with them regarding a dump pipe and they are offering this product and reporting 25 30 rwhp gains. Pretty good increases. Anybody have this or have any experience with it?

Just make doubly sure that it is for your 70 series motor and not for the 90 series KZ Motor.

I think I’m too scared to take this leap at this point, as tempting as it may be.

My main priority right now is to make mine a dependable daily driver.

It's pretty easy to achieve those sorts of gains with an intercooler, boost controller and adjustment to the spill control valve. $500 towards an intercooler is a MUCH better investment, as it'll provide power gains AND engine longevity.

I am actually looking into how best to do an intercooler.
