Hello. I recently purchased my first FJ40, and wanted to introduce myself to fellow Wisconsinites. I live in Cedarburg, WI. (just North of Milwaukee). My vehicle is in Eagle River, where we are doing a complete frame off restoration. What is special about this vehicle (I believe), is that it only has 11,000 original documented miles. I do not believe I am going to need alot of parts but will need a few to get this job done. Anyway, I have enjoyed this site so far and look forward to this new project. JMP

WOW...extremely low miles....kewl project!!

WOW, very nice. Welcome!

Nice 40 welcome to the mudness

welcome, same color as mine.

if there is, I may be interested...last thing I need is another rig, but one that clean and that original may be worth it....

I will try to get the contact information for you.

On a different matter, I am trying to locate an original AM radio for my 1978 FJ40. Please let me know if you come across one (does not have to be from a 1978 FJ since the same radio went into the units for a number of years) Thanks, JMP

Nice Find! I just saw a 40 similar to yours last weekend (except it was lifted and beat-up a little). I had a hard time explaining to my friend (he drives a Heep ) the trickle of drool on my chin.
Post lots of pics of the build!

Will do. We should start the rebuild in the next few weeks. JMP

James at cruiserparts.net has radios. I would give them a call. He gets and has weird stuff. I just ordered cowl vent tubes(in the package), and received them, ON TIME. Cdan says they stopped making those when Jesus Christ was a baby...

On another point-still waiting on the pm on the other 40
Thanks
Scott

Thanks for the info. Sorry, but by the time I went back for the other FJ40, it was gone. JMP

Typical . Oh well , did not need another 40 anyway. OTH I found a '70 40 right here in town. Asking 3500 or best offer. It is a trail rig. I am not interested but I can get the contact info if anyone else is. I also looked at it. Located about 4 minutes from my house.
