I have an employee who's new father in law is a jeep guy. Anyways in trying to find someone local to purchase alot of my items from, since I am sick of paying shipping on everything already. I came across DPG offroad in Rose Hill, not sure if any of you know or have heard of him, but I am going to meet with him this saturday to purchase some items. As of right now he is cheaper for ARB and OME then anyone I have found online, and doesnt charge shipping if you don't mind waiting until he orders his normal orders.

Just thought I would let ya'll know, seems very polite and friendly. If anyone has any other information on him let me know.

Examples of some of the items I had him quote for me, just checking him out. BTW this is all out the door prices after tax.

ARB deluxe front winch bumper - 849.34
ARB air lockers for front or rear - 849.34
850 - 863's OME heavies - like 290.00 something full kit like 830.00 something

I am pretty sure those are all accurate prices he quoted me, talked to him almost 12 hours ago.

Jeremy!

That's who I bought my ARB from! Great guy, great service, and the best prices as he will also save you $$ on shipping. I would recommend Dirk & DPG Offroad to anyone. Plus you're supporting the local small business. :D

Good job Jeremy, so when's the work weekend?

:hhmm: The work weekend, is when I can finally take the time off :frown:. I have been working all kinds of hours to get extra money for every month's parts purchase.

I want to get all the stuff on my truck sooo bad. But no matter what I WILL be going to MOAB this year fully suited. Hopefully locked and complete gear, sooo excited like a 13yr old on his first date.

Thnx for the input guys, and hopefully in the next couple weeks I would like to get the truck up in the air and go to town on it. If anyone has anything coming up in the near future wrenching wise lemme know would love to help even for the knowledge. Or if anyone needs any help with some electrical wether in the car or in the house gimmie a yell.

Jeremy

I got my ARB from Dirk. Very reasonably priced, short waiting time for delivery, and Dirk is just an all around nice guy. I wish he dabbled more with Toyota parts but around here that is a smaller market than the Jeep market. If he got more into Toyota parts I would buy from him without any reservations.

Well I just got back a little bit ago from visiting Dirk, and spending tooo much money. Awesome guy, cheap cheap pricing on ARB and OME compared to what I have found anywhere else.

Sweet rock garden, pretty big to from what I was expecting, trails and such to test your rig out on, he's got some crazy stuff there, and then to top it off he has a walled in firing range (15-20 ft. wall of dirt 180 degrees with drainage that he is going to black top off) for pistol and small caliber firearms.

Just an all around nice guy, If you havnt talked to him yet, and are needing parts for your rig, deffinatley give this guy a call.

Some of the pics of the testing area, all these pics are from his site.

Anyways just thought for those of you who didnt know of this place, now ya do.

Thnx again for those who put in there .02 about DPG, it was much appreciated.

Jeremy

Well I still deal with Scott down to Off Road Motorsports. He has always done right by me.
C Ya, Don

Wish I could say the same, I have found him to generally be overpriced (and I have bought parts from him), and generally don't recommend Off-Road Motorsports to people that ask me about buying there unless it is a last resort. I am also aware of some fast ones he pulled on some long term customers that lead me to believe there are different levels of customer service provided by him. One of his former employees related some anecdotes to me and some of his business practices that made me decide to limit my business with him.

I will say he has been a nice guy to talk to when I have talked to him, helpful and he does have a pretty good inventory of used parts, but again, Off-Road Motorsports is not high on my go-to list for stuff for my Jeep or Land Cruiser, particularly when I can go deal with DPG Off-Road for parts.

I'm sorry to hear of your experiance.
I bought two lock rites from Scott for jus a little more than $200 ea. And then last Fall he got me a Black Bestop for the 40 for $500. I have also found his prices on used tires very reasonable.
Proffets Cruisers, I have less than satisfied with......
