huge improvement

I installed 285/65/18 K02’s on the 40mm offset AR wheels (you can see them in previous threads). I didn’t like the ride, and the small amounts of rubbing in reverse at full lock.

I searched FB and CL for Rock warriors, with no luck other than a new set at a stealership for $3500...

So, i lucked on a set of TRD tundra wheels (sans tires) fro $300!!! I jumped on them and the rub went away, and the ride handling seems better (due to offset)

This pic is with the Kings installed, i think i need to Levelit a bit more, but it looks and ride amazing now....

Here are before and after shots- what do you guys think?

Wheels are definitely a personal preference/taste thing. But I think you made the right choice - those AR wheels look like a rotary dial phone :-)

I considered buying a set of those Tundra wheels and powercoating them a single color before I ended up buying my Icons.

I agree the fake headlock stuck out far enough that it could hit om a curb before the tire would.. they would look great on a tundra with 35-37” tires.... took a loss on the wheels, but i bought the TRD wheels on the cheap.

So much happier now with how it looks.....

Sorry to bump this, but does anyone know the load rating on these Tundra TRD wheels? Close to pulling the trigger on a set for our LX and cant find anything about load rating online.

Being that the Tundra in some trims (with those wheels) is rated for higher GVW as well as higher towing capacity than the 200 Series Cruiser, the Tundra wheels should be more than up to the task...
I doubt you'll find a published load rating on any toyota factory wheel.
