The tow truck, "Lil' Red" is still in active use. It showed up while I was there lookin' at the two heavy wreckers pullin' a busted-down '07 Duramax with a gooseneck . It had been parked next to the Super Duty in front of it during the softball tennis ball to softball sized hail storm but didn't have a dent one on it.... They sure don't make 'em like that any more... The fella is talkin' 'bout retirin' the old girl, cleanin' 'er all up and some fresh paint, an AC system and tires and just usin' for parades.

The hotel's front desk and lobby was pink too . Not sure the commercial rates applied to truck driver's or some other profession.

Damn-fine wrecker ... same year as my 1/2 ton street rod ... 1954.

Does "remote TV" mean they film what you're doin' in the room? Got a website address for 'em? :grinpimp:

More hail and tornados up here this week. The Big Ol' Dodge looks more like a Big Ol' golf ball this morning after quarter-size last night. I wonder if the insrance man wil let me write my own estimate for repairs........ The Ford took a beating too. I had a guy look at it a couple days ago..... wonder if he's gonna want me to fix it or just drop the price :censor:

Damn fine wheels ...

JP's kinfolk would love to get their hands on that one.

Might need a snorkle kit now though.

I bet Cam could put one on there for 'em. :grinpimp:

Now there are two trailer that'll fit the Big Ol' Dodge.

Had to torch out the original upright section of the GN and weld in a long'r one.... All that work 7 inches :bang:. She sits level when the truck as has air in the bags. Seemed to pull okay with just the 40 on it but it was gawd aweful windy yesterday. Got a little more work to do with the wire-feed then clean 'er up, slap some paint on it and get the camper fitted back onto 'er.
