My older brother owns a 77 FJ 40 that he is now taking with him to Virginia. My dad and I put a lot of work into that cruiser, overhauled almost everything. Completely original with a fiberglass body. I deicided that since I can no longer tinker with his I would buy one for myself. Got a great deal on a 75 FJ 40. The body is not in that great of shape but it runs real well and for a thousand dollars you can't beat it.
I got a friend that owns a 72 FJ 40 that is in great shape, he dropped 2500 into a new paint job about 4 years ago. He then went off to college and lost interest in it. So my question is will the body from the 72 fit onto my 75. Im also in college and will not be putting lots of work into it untill i get out but for now I would like to get it running well and looking nice.
