Just got an 80 - A few questions

Not to jack this tread, but I do have concerns that the hook only bots to the outer skin of the crossmember. I have considered welding a nut plate on the other side of crossmember for the lower bolts. I have always been curious why Toyota left the bottom without nuts and the back side of the crossmember skin cut out. One day I'm going to craw under a newer LX470 to see how they intergrated the reciever with the pental mount.

so is that why is lx459 is a "99".

In his sig line he gave the wrong year and wrong model # for a truck he says he owns but does not actually own or intend to own. That seems to indicate an information delivery accuracy problem that extends beyond keyboard entry issues. Perhaps he is an eBay vendor?
