It's fun to see those able to afford numerous other high end vehicles come to the same conclusions about the Cruisers as the rest of us.

That same amazing reliability is still there when I can afford them a few years beyond new. I bought my 100 series when it was 3 years old with 60k miles...and over the next 13 years...it NEVER failed to get me where I was going. Ever. It certainly required service, etc., but it always got me where I wanted to go, and I went everywhere in it. -From 115 degree heat to the dead of winter at -16 f through snow.

There really is nothing else like the LC.

thanks for the comments!
I must admit that I smile every time i get in my 7 series but the consistent problems has finally taken its toll. The BMW dealer kills it with customer service so that has made it better. The RR sport is very nice but I don't want to risk the reliability and depreciation again.
True . My 335xi was great when it ran but it had three or four unscheduled stops at the dealer between the "free" oil changes. 4 fuel pumps later at 28k miles I was done. In that time (about a year and a half - I put 20k+ miles on a car per year), I spent 60 days in a Mini loaner, 12 days in an Impala, a week or so in an Altima and countless days in BMW loaners. Combined with the horrible dealer experience, I've decided that the next time I'll own a BMW will be in Germany.
