Are K&N air intakes smog legal? because they say they are street legal in all 50 states but does that mean they will pass smog?

If it has a CARB (California Air Research Board) Executive Order it is legal and will pass a smog inspection. Be sure that the CARB EO number is visiable on the part so the ref. can see it.
