I was driving into the office today and saw what looks to be a mid 70's 40 at a salvage yard right off the Westpark Tollroad and Fondren. Looks pretty complete (hard top, al fenders, rims look stock). Body looked OK too. I am actually looking for one that is ready to go but if anyone has interest I can swing by and snap some pics and get prices.

BTW I am still looking for mine so maybe this will increase my karma with the cruzr gods and someone will steer me to the one I am after.
 
I'd like to see what the front doors look like. Can you check them out for me? I'm in College Station. I could drive down and pick them up if their not rusted too bad. What is the address in case I get lucky? Thanks, Matt
 
If you take some pictures send me some of the rear half of the tub. Could you find out what year it is? I may go get it and part it out for all of us if it has a decent amount of good parts. Either that or you can pm me their phone number.

what do you need off a tub?
 
My rear floor and wheel wells are rotted and need to be replaced, after considering my options I think my best option is to look for a decent rear half of a tub to swap with. So I pretty much need everything from the doors back, except the fenders since I've got some new ones from CCOT.
 
my dad check it out, its HPD impound, so im going to check out what needs to be done to get it.

how does the hard top look like, need some side panels for my '74 40!

If its like our impund, they auction them every so often. I can't buy anything cause I'm a city employee, but my dad can!!!

good eyes didnt see that till now

and from what i understand, pick a part will buys them and parts them, but im doing all i can to save this Cruiser
