Well your in luck Tom turns out i gotta take my daughter to a Birthday party @ Chuck-e-Cheeses on June 7th and if we wait til the 14th Neil might have his Heep Rustler up and running again..........so Creek Falls is postponed(long summer coming anyway) and we are gonna go to the EC4WDA scouting ride in Somerset,PA.The only reason i was gonna go on the 7th is because i leave for Ocean City,MD on the 15th but i dont wanna miss the ride to somerset beacuse its gonna be a HUGE event on Labor Day that Triangle(EC4WDA) is hosting and we need to learn these trails better.......more info on the somerset ride to follow......................
 
trails are unknown....recent widening and improvments to allow trucks(used to be quads and dirt bikes)ive never been there but what the hell!!!!......defenetly no tech inspection if your truck runs and you got decent tread your in
 
i was thinking about the 76 or the defender 110. the 76 cant be driven too fast till i get the tcase done. i cant get a hold of pj on that note. the 72 needs brake shoes and inspected. the 110 need nothing, but it doesnt need to roll over :D.
 
I don't think they go fast to begin with. Is the defender not insured? Talked to Nick he's going to try to make it. And get the fricken 72 inspected. Bring it to my guy. He'll inspect it.
 
Bad news but never fear Somerset is off limits right now cause they are building Windmills..............The ride is being moved to Wellsville,OH 100% definetely for sure we will meet at BP gas station on Route 51 next to Salt storage dome right by the Fort Pitt Tunnels that sunday morning June 14th at 10am at the BP station by the Diesel pumps.....I saw PJ?? today (very cherry blue 40) barely talked to him we were moving in traffic and he said some guys were goin to go......it wont be too crazy ill have my 4 year old and franks truck is small anddont worry wellsville is closer than somerset anyway
 
No, That was me, Tom. Any way I was coming from Scotts place. I told him you have a garage. What all do you guys do there? Scott needs brakes and inspected, my blue one needs inspected,dusted washed and the spiders removed. I only put a 100 miles on it last year.
 
doh! i though it was you for a minute but the truck threw me off!!! I do whatever i can down there ,brakes no problem and i go threw Brian Marsh for inspections . When do you want to check it out?
 
So far I count 5 trucks My 4RUNNER,Franks XJ,Neils TJ,Gregs CJ,and Toms FJ,Scott would make 6 with the 110(nudge,prod,poke)and Wilcox maybe 7 with his XJ,no word from George with the 3b or Dave with the YJ.....I estimate 4-10 trucks:)

Frank tweaked his control arm mounts on the front axle of his cherokee,buts its still drivable..........and everyone had to be pulled from time to time or in my case winch up a rock face.....but it was a great day we moved quickly through a sampling of trails and all made it out under our own power...cant wait for the creek falls ride comin up in a few sundays...will keep in touch
