July Club Meeting, July 14, 2026

July meeting will be at a new location. Precision Land Cruisers, 1110 Valley St Suite D, Colorado Springs, CO 80915

Drive Galley East of Powers Boulevard, Turn North on Valley St, Building is third building on your left (West side of Valley)

Show up at 6:00 pm for social hour, business meeting starts at 7:00 pm sharp since El Presidente demands it.

Notes on the meeting:

The location of the meeting was Precision Land Cruisers shop. Randy graciously hosted the location and provided hamburgers and sodas.

Old Business: Review of the Mosquito Pass trail ride, participants had a good trip. Recommend it for others to try.

New Business:

The group was informed that the President had notified the board via a written resignation of his office with the desire to remain a voting member. In accordance with the Club Bylaws, the Vice President is named President. The office of Vice-President is vacant until a new person is identified.

Discussion on how to notify members if a meeting or trail ride is canceled or destination is changed. The problem is people that have decided to attend and have not notified the group by responding to the thread on the CLC club site on IH8MUD website. Presently the process is to notify people that have signed up through editing the specific thread, IM and text people that have signed up for the event on IH8MUD website. The main discussion was how to contact people that are interested in attending but have not notified of their interest. The only solution to that problem appeared to be a text to all members notifying of the change. The problem with that approach is all members would receive multiple texts prior to a venue change. A compromise approach was proposed that was accepted and will be maintained into the future. Any location changes to any event will only be made a minimum of 48 hours before the event occurs.

Meeting location change: The attendees gave positive feedback on the location of the meeting. A comment was made that Rudy's location was getting tiring.
Randy made the offer of hosting a meeting at the shop every quarter. That would mean the October meeting being held at Precision Land Cruisers. It was suggested that the September meeting be held at Rudys. That would mean we need to identify a meeting location for August.

The destination of the August trail ride is Hermit Pass.
