Fort Mill, S.C. – Nov. 11, 2011. General Tire, Wahoo’s Tacos and Azunia Tequila, along with some of their off-road friends, will champion the Baja Children’s Support Run V next Wednesday, Nov. 16 in Ensenada, Baja, Mexico. The focus of this year’s event is to install a multi-media center including new computers and desks for the children at the Rancho El Milagro facility in Ensenada. Additionally, the group will provide valuable food and daily supplies for the orphaned children and staff members at Rancho El Milagro (www.ranchomilagro.org).
The fifth annual Baja Children’s Support Run is held in conjunction with the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 and will kickoff at the Costco in Ensenada at 8:30 a.m. PST. The general public is invited to stop by the Costco (located at Carr. Transpeninsular La Paz 4179; Carlos Pacheco; Ensenada) from 8:30 -10:30 a.m. to purchase and donate much needed food and supplies for the orphanage which will be delivered to the orphanage later that day. Monetary donations will also be welcome.
Following the shopping trip, a designated group of volunteers will travel to Rancho El Milagro to deliver the food and supplies and help build-out the multi-media center which will enable kids to learn and explore the world in their race to discover all the possibilities that lie ahead for them.
